BROCKPORT, N.Y. — The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) is excited to announce the release schedule for the 2022 Penn Monto/NFHCA National Coaches Polls for all three NCAA divisions.
All polls will be released on Tuesdays during the 2022-2023 fall season and will follow the schedules outlined below for each division.
The format of each Penn Monto/NFHCA National Coaches Poll is voted on by NFHCA member coaches and has no bearing on selection to the NCAA Field Hockey Championships. Voting members are asked to consider overall 2022-2023 record, strength of schedule, results against common opponents, and head-to-head competition when making their weekly selections.

Division I National Coaches Poll Schedule
The Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I National Coaches Poll will continue in a top-25 format. The preseason poll will be released on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 with voting to take place the full week prior. The final poll will be released on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 following scheduled conference championships.
The voting portal will be open to Division I head coach members on Mondays from 8:00 a.m. ET to 11:59 p.m. ET. Division I members will receive a reminder email and voting instructions each week.
The NFHCA will release the weekly ranking no later than 3:00 p.m. ET on Tuesdays.

Division II National Coaches Poll Schedule
The Penn Monto/NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll will follow a top-10 format. The preseason poll will be released on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 with voting to take place the full week prior. Due to the Division II National Championship Festival schedule, the Division II poll features additional dates this year and the final poll will be released on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 following scheduled conference championships.
The voting portal will be open to Division II head coach members on Mondays from 8:00 a.m. ET to 11:59 p.m. ET. Division II members will receive a reminder email and voting instructions each week.
The NFHCA will release the weekly ranking no later than 3:00 p.m. ET on Tuesdays.

Division III National Coaches Poll Schedule
The Penn Monto/NFHCA Division III National Coaches Poll will follow a top-20 format with the next five selections designated as “also receiving votes.” The preseason poll will be released on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 with voting to take place the full week prior. The final poll will be released on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 following scheduled conference championships.
The voting portal will be open to Division III head coach members on Mondays from 8:00 a.m. ET until 10:00 a.m. ET the following day. Division III members will receive a reminder email and voting instructions each week.
The NFHCA will release the weekly ranking no later than 3:00 p.m. ET on Tuesdays.

The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) is a nonprofit organization serving field hockey coaches and supporters of the game from across the United States. The mission of the organization is to stimulate the professional development of coaching leadership within the sport of field hockey. The NFHCA strives to cultivate and recognize the professional contributions of its membership and to foster and promote the growth of the sport. The NFHCA is responsible for providing a recognizable presence and voice in regard to legislation affecting the sport as well as interscholastic and intercollegiate programs.
