The National Academic Squad program honors undergraduate collegiate student-athletes and scholastic junior and senior student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher through the first semester of the current academic year.

The nomination period for the National Academic Squad program is throughout the month of January each year.  Coaches must be active and current NFHCA members to nominate student-athletes for NFHCA awards.  Notification and access will be provided to member coaches when the nomination period opens and closes.

Honorees will receive an individualized digital certificate. The certificates will be made available following the final academic award corrections deadline — coaches will be notified when they are available.
