McFarland, Gillette named NFHCA Division II National Players of the Week

MANAHAWKIN, NJ  — Senior forward from No. 8 Bloomsburg University Aydan McFarland, and Paige Gillette, a senior goalkeeper from No. 4 Assumption University, have been named this week’s NFHCA Division II Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively.

NFHCA Division II Defensive Player of the Week

Paige Gillette, No. 4 Assumption University, Sr., Goalkeeper (Andover, MA)

• NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week.
• Made 17 total saves in a pair wins over No. 2 East Stroudsburg and No. 6 West Chester.
• Holds a 0.50 goals-against-average and a .944 save percentage.

NFHCA Division II Offensive Player of the Week

Aydan McFarland, No. 8 Bloomsburg University, Sr., Forward (Bloomsburg, PA)

• Named PSAC Offensive Athlete of the Week.
• Tallied five goals in three victories for the Huskies.
• Netted a hat-trick in a 7-2 win over No. 9 Pace University.
