Dole, Reny named NFHCA Division III National Players of the Week
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — First-year goalkeeper from No. 22 Franklin & Marshall College, Meghan Dole, and junior midfielder from Thomas College, Julia Reny, have been named this week’s NFHCA Division III Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, respectively.
Junior goalkeeper from SUNY Brockport, Ella Bauchanan, sophomore forward from Simmons College, Sydney Gonyea, and senior forward from VTSU Castleton, Emily Harris, also received honorable mention nods for Division III Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, respectively, as well.
NFHCA Division III Defensive Player of the Week
Meghan Dole, No. 22 Franklin & Marshall College, FY., Goalkeeper (Wayne, Pennsylvania)
- Led the Diplomats to a 2-0 week with a .944 save percentage and 0.50 goals against average in wins over then 18th-ranked Ursinus and Haverford.
- Opened the week with 15 saves in a 2-1 penalty shootout victory over Ursinus, stopping two of the three penalty shootout attempts by the Bears.
- Helped F&M register its seventh shutout of the season with two saves in the 4-0 victory against Haverford.
NFHCA Division III Offensive Player of the Week
Julia Reny, Thomas College, Jr., Forward (Gardiner, Maine)
- Named the North Atlantic Conference Player of the Week.
- Broke the school record for most goals scored and points in a single season in the Terriers game against Plymouth State, netting all four goals.
- Recorded a hat-trick against and registered an assist in a 11-0 win over University of Maine Farmington.
- Netted two goals against St. Joseph’s College (ME).
NFHCA Division III Defensive Player of the Week Honorable Mention
Ella Bauchanan, SUNY Brockport, Jr., Goalkeeper (Barneveld, New York)

Posted a 2-0 record across 90 minutes of action, including a seven-save, 1-0 win against Oswego to secure Brockport’s first 10-win season since 2011.

Sydney Gonyea, Simmons College, So., Forward (Lebanon, New Hampshire)
- Named GNAC Player of the Week.
- Netted a hat-trick and notched three assists in a 11-0 victory over Elms.
- Record another hat-trick and added two assists in a 10-0 victory over Regis.
NFHCA Division III Offensive Player of the Week Honorable Mention
Emily Harris, VTSU Castleton, Sr., Forward (Crondall, England)
- Named LEC Offensive Player of the Week for the fifth time this season.
- Found the back of the cage seven times in a 1-1 week for the Spartans.
- Tallied five goals and added an assist in a 9-2 league victory over Eastern Connecticut.
- Leads Division III with 37 goals and 79 total points.
The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) is a nonprofit organization serving field hockey coaches and supporters of the game from across the United States. The mission of the organization is to champion, strengthen, and celebrate field hockey coaches and the game. The NFHCA strives to cultivate and recognize the professional contributions of its membership and to foster and promote the growth of the sport.
