Bross, Wingle named NFHCA Division III National Players of the Week

BROCKPORT, N.Y. — Junior goalkeeper from Susquehanna University, Mackenzie Bross, and junior forward from DeSales University, Tyra Wingle, have been named this week’s NFHCA Division III Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, respectively.

Mackenzie Bross, Susquehanna University, Jr., Goalkeeper (Perkasie, Pennsylvania)
- Led the defensive effort against two ranked opponents last weekend
- Recorded six saves in each game
- Was in goal for all 120 minutes of action
- Recorded a shutout against No. 14 Christopher Newport University
- Conceded one penalty-stroke goal in 2-1 win over No. 5 Salisbury University
- Was named Landmark Conference Defensive Athlete of the Week
NFHCA Division III Offensive Player of the Week
Tyra Wingle, DeSales University, Jr., Forward (Branchville, New Jersey)
- Recorded eight points on three goals and two assists to lead the Bulldogs to a pair of 3-0 wins
- Against Moravian College, Wingle had one goal and two assists
- Scored two goals against Muhlenberg College
- Was named Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom Offensive Player of the Week

Katie Koch, Susquehanna University, Sr., Midfielder (West Milton, Pennsylvania)
- Scored the game-winning goal in the final period against No. 14 Christopher Newport University
- Assisted on the first goal of a 2-1 win over No. 5 Salisbury University
- Was name Landmark Conference Offensive Athlete of the Week
