Watkins, Juiliano named NFHCA Division III National Players of the Week

MANAHAWKIN, NJ  — Junior forward from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, Emma Watkins, and junior goalkeeper from Rowan University, Mariah Juiliano, have been named this week’s NFHCA Division III Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively.

NFHCA Division III Defensive Player of the Week

Mariah Juiliano, Rowan University, Jr., Goalkeeper (Williamstown, New Jersey)

  • Named NJAC Defensive Player of the Week.
  • Led Rowan to a pair of NJAC victories, allowing just one goal across both contests.
  • Made three saves in a 2-1 win over TCNJ, and then recorded her fourth shutout of the season with five saves in a 5-0 win against Kean.

NFHCA Division III Offensive Player of the Week

Emma Watkins, St. Mary’s College of Maryland, Jr., Forward (Frederick, Maryland)

  • Named United East Offensive Player of the Week.
  • Tallied five goals, including one game-winner, in a 3-0 week for the Seahawks.
  • Netted a pair of scores in a 3-0 victory over Wilson, before adding two more finishes in a 7-0 besting of Meredith. She ended the week with another goal in a 3-0 triumph over Keystone.
