Tamer named Play Safe/NFHCA October High School Player of the Month

BROCKPORT, N.Y. — Abigail Tamer, a 2021 midfielder from Dexter High School in Dexter, Michigan, collected 39 points on 15 goals and nine assists last month to earn the distinction of October’s High School Player of the Month.

Tamer’s offensive abilities helped Dexter High School to a 9-0-1 record in the month of October and a Michigan High School Field Hockey Association (MHSFHA) Division 1 State Championship on October 31. In Dexter’s playoff run, Tamer scored six of the team’s 11 goals and contributed four assists. The 2020 MHSFHA Championship was the second-consecutive title for Tamer and the Dexter field hockey program.
