Performance Sport Events Extends Partnership with NFHCA through 2029
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) has renewed and extended its alliance with Performance Sport Events (PSE) through 2029, continuing a relationship focused on delivering high-quality recruiting, education, and recognition opportunities across the field hockey community.
Under the extended agreement, PSE will remain the exclusive event operator of the NFHCA Winter Escape Showcase®, continuing its role in executing one of the NFHCA’s signature recruiting events. The agreement extends PSE’s operation of Winter Escape through the January 2029 event.
“PSE understands the field hockey landscape and, just as importantly, the people we serve,” said Cate Clark, NFHCA executive director. “This extension allows us to build on what is working while continuing to evolve the experience for athletes, club coaches, college coaches, and families. Our organizations bring different strengths to the table, and that alignment gives us an opportunity to create meaningful experiences across the sport.”
As operator of Winter Escape, PSE manages key event operations while working with the NFHCA to deliver a competitive recruiting experience designed around the needs of college coaches, club programs, and prospective student-athletes. PSE also supports the execution of the NFHCA’s Ready2Coach and Ready2Play programming at the showcase.
Expanded Support Across the NFHCA
The renewed agreement extends beyond Winter Escape. PSE will serve as official sponsors of several NFHCA programs and recognition initiatives through 2029, including:
- NFHCA Ready2Coach Clinics
- NFHCA Ready2Play at Winter Escape Showcase
- NFHCA Watchlist
- NFHCA Club Coaching Staff of the Year
The expanded relationship connects PSE with programs spanning coach education, athlete development and recognition, and club coach recognition — areas central to the NFHCA’s work on behalf of the coaching community.
Working Together Across the Field Hockey Calendar
The agreement also establishes an alliance between the NFHCA and PSE around four PSE-owned and operated events: Shooting Star Easter, Shooting Star Jamboree, Shooting Star Thanksgiving, and the College Connection Showcase.
Through the alliance, the NFHCA will help connect its coaching community with these events through its communications and promotional channels, while PSE will continue to create opportunities that bring athletes and coaches together throughout the recruiting calendar.
The renewed agreement reflects a broader approach to the relationship: combining PSE’s event-management expertise and established event portfolio with the NFHCA’s national coaching community, education, recognition programs, and commitment to supporting the recruiting process.
“Our goal is to work with organizations that help create better experiences for coaches and athletes and strengthen the connections that move field hockey forward” noted Clark. PSE brings an exceptional standard of event management and a deep understanding of the sport and event experience at every level. We’re excited to continue building together through 2029.”
