NFHCA Proudly Announces 2024 Division III National Team Academic Awards

MANAHAWKIN, NJ—The NFHCA proudly announces that it has honored 69 Division III teams with the esteemed 2024 National Academic Team Award.

This prestigious acknowledgment is granted to programs that have achieved an exceptional team grade-point average of 3.5 or higher during the fall semester of the current academic year.

Shenandoah University turned in the highest GPA in all of Division III, securing the top spot with an overall 3.83. Close behind, Haverford College landed in second place with a collective team GPA of 3.81. Clark University claimed the third team spot with a 3.80.

One prestigious Division III academic award is yet to be unveiled  — the National Scholar-Athlete on February 20. The Division III National Academic Squad and Scholars of Distinction were announced earlier this month.

The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) is a nonprofit organization serving field hockey coaches and supporters of the game from across the United States. The mission of the organization is to champion, strengthen, and celebrate field hockey coaches and the game. The NFHCA strives to cultivate and recognize the professional contributions of its membership and to foster and promote the growth of the sport. The NFHCA is responsible for providing a recognizable presence and voice in regard to legislation affecting the sport as well as interscholastic and intercollegiate programs.
