NFHCA Proudly Announces 2024 Division II Regional Players of the Year
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Annemartine Christis from Southern New Hampshire University and Jady van Gils from East Stroudsburg University were selected to represent their respective region as the NFHCA Division II Regional Player of the Year. Each regional award winner is now in the running for NFHCA Division II National Player of the Year honors.
Atlantic Region

East Region
Annemartine Christis, Southern New Hampshire University, Sr., Midfielder (‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands)
- Named NE10 Player of the Year
- Named to the NE10 First Team
- Led the nation with 30 goals and 74 points across 20 contests
- Established new single-season career records at Southern New Hampshire for goals, assists (14) and total points
- Anchored SNHU’s best season (16-4) since 2019 as a key playmaker, ranking second nationally in assists per game (0.70)
The NFHCA Division II Regional Player of the Year announcement is the first in a list of postseason awards from the NFHCA. The NFHCA Division II All-American team will be released on December 17 and the NFHCA Division II National Player of the Year will be announced on December 19.
The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) is a nonprofit organization serving field hockey coaches and supporters of the game from across the United States. The mission of the organization is to champion, strengthen, and celebrate field hockey coaches and the game. The NFHCA strives to cultivate and recognize the professional contributions of its membership and to foster and promote the growth of the sport. The NFHCA is responsible for providing a recognizable presence and voice in regard to legislation affecting the sport as well as interscholastic and intercollegiate programs.
