BROCKPORT, N.Y. — Alex Mega, a 2023 midfielder/forward from East Greenwich High School in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, collected 21 points on 10 goals and one assist last month to earn the distinction of November’s High School Player of the Month.

Mega’s offensive performance helped carry East Greenwich to their second-consecutive Division I Rhode Island State Championship and a perfect 9-0 record. In overtime of the state championship Mega scored the game-winning goal, a highlight that later appeared on ESPN’s SportsCenter.

She finished the season as Rhode Island’s top goal scorer with 18 goals in nine games, an honor she also earned last year.
