Lindsey, Regnart NFHCA DI Field Hockey Players of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO  — Pru Lindsey, a junior forward from Princeton University, and Jade Regnart, a junior goalkeeper from Rider University, have been named this week’s NFHCA Division I Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively. Maci Bradford, a senior forward from the University of Maryland, and Ruby Butterfield, a sophomore goalkeeper from Wake Forest University, also received honorable mention nods for Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week. NFHCA Division I Offensive Player of the Week

Pru Lindsey, Princeton University, Junior, Forward (Nantwich, England)

  • Totaled two goals and two assists as Princeton earned wins over Dartmouth and then-No. 1 Northwestern.
  • Recorded a goal and an assist in the Tigers’ 4-0 conference win over Dartmouth.
  • Scored the tying goal with 1:13 remaining and assisted the overtime game-winner in a 2-1 win over Northwestern.
  • Earned Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week honors.

NFHCA Division I Defensive Player of the Week

Jade Regnart, Rider University, Junior, Goalkeeper (Cape Town, South Africa)​

  • Recorded a career-high 19 saves in Rider’s 1-0 shutout of Davidson.
  • Stopped a penalty stroke to preserve the one-goal lead against the Wildcats.
  • Contributed to a shared shutout in Rider’s 7-0 win over Mercyhurst.
  • Earned NEC Defensive Player of the Week honors.

NFHCA Division I Honorable Mention

Offensive: Maci Bradford, University of Maryland, Senior, Forward (Delmar, DE)

  • Factored into four of Maryland’s five goals with two goals and two assists in a 5-2 road win at then-No. 19 Michigan.
  • Earned Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honors.

Defensive: Ruby Butterfield, Wake Forest University, Sophomore, Goalkeeper (Malmesbury, England)

  • Recorded nine saves and conceded just one goal across two road wins, including a shutout of then-No. 14 California.
  • Earned ACC Defensive Player of the Week honors.
