Finn, Bross NFHCA DII Field Hockey Players of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO  — Anna Finn, a junior defender from West Chester University, and Molly Bross, a junior goalkeeper from Bloomsburg University, have been named this week’s NFHCA Division II Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively. The NFHCA Player of the Week program is sponsored by Wrappit Wrappit. Feline Rook, a sophomore midfielder from Pace University, and Agustina Miranda Waigand, a sophomore goalkeeper from Southern New Hampshire University, also received honorable mention nods for Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week.

NFHCA Division II Offensive Player of the Week

Anna Finn, West Chester University, Junior, Defender (Windsor, NY)

• Scored five of West Chester’s six goals during the Golden Rams’ 2-0 week.
• Tallied all four West Chester goals in the win over then-No. 7 Assumption.
• Scored the overtime game-winning goal in a 2-1 road win at Adelphi.
• Earned PSAC Offensive Player of the Week honors.

NFHCA Division II Defensive Player of the Week

Molly Bross, Bloomsburg University, Junior, Goalkeeper (Perkasie, PA)

• Recorded consecutive road shutouts while stopping all 13 shots faced across 120 minutes.
• Made seven saves in a 4-0 win at Southern New Hampshire.
• Added six saves in a 2-0 win at then-No. 6 Saint Anselm.
• Earned PSAC Defensive Player of the Week honors.

NFHCA Division II Honorable Mention

Offensive: Feline Rook, Pace University, Sophomore, Midfielder (Zuid-Holland, Netherlands)

• Led Pace with four goals during the week, including a hat trick in the Setters’ win over Saint Thomas Aquinas.
• Earned NE10 Player of the Week honors.

Defensive: Agustina Miranda Waigand, Southern New Hampshire University, Sophomore, Goalkeeper (Miami, FL)

• Made 13 saves across two games, including eight against then-No. 8 Bloomsburg and five in a shootout win at then-No. 9 Bentley.
• Earned NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week honors.
