Amanda Hendry, University of North Carolina, Sr., Goalkeeper (Wilton, Connecticut)
Hendry made eight saves to earn a shutout in the Tar Heels’ spring opener, a 2-0 win over the University of Louisville. The game was a rematch of November’s ACC Championship — Hendry tied her saves total from that game as the Cardinals again outshot UNC, getting off 16 shots, nine of them on goal. Hendry’s eight saves equaled her second-highest total of the season. The shutout was the fifth of the season for the Tar Heels, with Hendry earning the win in each one.
Hendry was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Week — for the third time — on Tuesday. This is Hendry’s third Division I Defensive Player of the Week honor this season.

Jill Bolton, Liberty University, Sr., Forward (Souderton, Pennsylvania)
Bolton led Liberty University to a 2-0 weekend against Old Dominion University. She contributed eight points on three goals and two assists. In Saturday’s 4-1 win, Bolton had an 6-point offensive performance, assisting on the first two goals of the game and scoring the final two. On Sunday, Bolton scored in the 47th minute, putting Liberty ahead 2-0. In seven games this season, Bolton is Liberty’s leader in assists (7) and ranks second in goals (7) and points (21).
Bolton was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday. This is Bolton’s second Division I Offensive Player of the Week honor this year.
