MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Congratulations to seniors Emma Bianco (Bayville, New Jersey), Kiley Bowker (Lumberton, New Jersey), Jessie Bruther (Manahawkin, New Jersey), Emily Caporrino (Manahawkin, New Jersey), Leigha Clapp (Manahawkin, New Jersey) and Mallory Higham (Toms River, New Jersey) – all hailing from Phoenix Elite Field Hockey Club in Ocean County, New Jersey, for collectively earning the prestigious title of NFHCA April Club Player of the Month.

These six members of the Class of 2024 helped propel Phoenix Elite U19’s to an unblemished 5-0 record at the recent Shooting Stars Jamboree. Together, along with their other team members, they netted 23 goals while allowing just three scores – both tops of all U19 teams competing in the April tournament. Additionally, the squad posted three shutouts.

The performance led Phoenix Elite U19’s to their first-ever pool win in a major showcase in the club’s three short years of existence.
