Dotterweich, Sluymer named NFHCA Division II National Players of the Week
BROCKPORT, N.Y. — Senior goalkeeper from No. 5 Kutztown University, Katie Dotterweich, and senior forward from No. 1 Shippensburg University, Jenna Sluymer, have been named this week’s NFHCA Division II Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, respectively.

Katie Dotterweich, No. 5 Kutztown University, Sr., Goalkeeper (Douglassville, Pennsylvania)
- Registered six saves and three wins — including two shutouts — this week for No. 5 Kutztown
- Recorded a shutout in a 72-minute double-overtime victory against No. 9 Bloomsburg University
- Shutout Frostburg State University in Friday’s 2-0 win
- Made two saves in a 4-2 win over Lindenwood University on Saturday
- Named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Defensive Athlete of the Week
NFHCA Division II Offensive Player of the Week
Jenna Sluymer, No. 1 Shippensburg University, Sr., Forward (Nieuw-Vennep, The Netherlands)
- Registered 12 points last week on five goals and two assists
- Netted the game winner in the Raiders’ 3-1 win over No. 6 East Stroudsburg University
- Scored a career-high four goals and had two assists in Ship’s win over Mercyhurst University
- Has scored a goal in five consecutive games for the Raiders
- Named PSAC Field Hockey Athlete of the Week
The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) is a nonprofit organization serving field hockey coaches and supporters of the game from across the United States. The mission of the organization is to champion, strengthen, and celebrate field hockey coaches and the game. The NFHCA strives to cultivate and recognize the professional contributions of its membership and to foster and promote the growth of the sport.
