Play Safe Turf & Track/NFHCA November High School Player of the Month

Rina Tsioles, Wyoming Valley West High School, 2020, Midfielder (Kingston, Pennsylvania)

In the month of November, Tsioles tallied four points, on a goal and two assists, to help propel her team to a 2019 Pennsylvania AA District II State Championship. Three of those points came at important moments for Wyoming Valley West — two points came on a game-winning goal in the team’s Final Four game, and another point came when she assisted the game-winner in their championship contest.

Notably, Tsioles also played an integral role on the Spartans’ defense — as their penalty corner flyer, she was part of a defensive unit that only allowed three goals in their four November playoff games. She was named the Player of the Game in the championship match and the 2019 Citizens’ Voice Field Hockey Player of the Year.
