Tama, Roura named NFHCA Division III National Players of the Week
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Junior forward from No. 21 SUNY New Paltz, Rachel Tama, and junior goalkeeper from Stockton University, Erika Roura, have been named this week’s NFHCA Division III Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively. First-year goalkeeper from Russell Sage College, Olivia Brand, also earned a nod for Defensive Player of the Week Honorable Mention.

NFHCA Division III Defensive Player of the Week
Erika Roura, Stockton University, Jr., Goalkeeper (Mt. Laurel, New Jersey)
- Named NJAC Defensive Player of the Week.
- Posted her first two career shutouts in cage last week, both on the road.
- Tallied 19 total saves across the two shutouts, stopping seven shots in a 1-0 win over Widener and a career-high-tying 12 in a 2-0 win over Albright.
NFHCA Division III Offensive Player of the Week
Rachel Tama, No. 21 SUNY New Paltz, Jr., Forward (Hopewell Junction, New York)
- Named SUNYAC Offensive Player of the Week.
- Set a single-game program record with five goals and 11 points against SUNY Morrisville.
- Earned an assist in a 4-3 overtime win against Kean.
NFHCA Division III Defensive Player of the Week Honorable Mention
Olivia Brand, Russell Sage College, FY., Goalkeeper (Little Falls, New York)
- Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Week.
- Contributed on the field and in goal for the Gators last week, scoring her first collegiate goal in a 7-0 shutout win over visiting Elmira.
- Made the first start in goal of her career on Saturday at RPI, stopping 20 of 22 Engineers shots.
