Benefits by Member Group

“When I think of the NFHCA, three words come to mind: connection, community, and celebration. As coaches, we all have connections within the profession that intertwine us and the NFHCA is the catalyst that creates a community that allows us to celebrate and support one another and the student-athletes we all love.”

Kelsi Lykens, Head Coach, Lehigh University

“As a member for almost 20 years, the trajectory that this organization has taken is amazing; it is growing and keeping relevant with what coaches need and ensuring that every member feels valued and important. Being a member of the NFHCA has always been important to me. As a field hockey coach, it is important to belong to an organization that supports, mentors and educates coaches and for me, that’s the NFHCA.”

– Renée Toliver, Head Coach, Shawnee High School

“The NFHCA has had a profound effect on field hockey in the USA since its inception. Thousands of high school athletes have been recognized through athletic and academic awards. Coaches have been acknowledged for outstanding accomplishments. Their drills and resources have been helpful throughout the years. I am so appreciative of the leadership of the NFHCA for all they have done to promote field hockey. I highly encourage field hockey coaches at all levels to become NFHCA members.”

– Linda Kreiser, retired coach, NFHCA Hall of Fame member

“As a coach, the ability to connect and learn from other coaches is of the utmost importance. The NFHCA allows me to do this with like-minded, driven people who share the same aspirations and passion as me. The collaboration, bonds, and friendships made amongst peers is something that is truly special. Professionally the NFHCA has helped me to become a better coach through events and through the abundance of programs and learning experiences offered.”

– Tori Roche, Assistant Coach, Boston University

“As a club and high school coach, the NFHCA has been invaluable to me. Not only do I access and use the ‘Drill of the Week’ and other resources to help design practices and work with players, but I am able to take advantage of coach professional development. One of the best benefits is that my high school athletes are eligible for many awards because of my membership — my student-athletes have loved being honored for their accomplishments on and off the field.”

Stefanie Vestal, Club Coach, Beyond Sticks
