NFHCA 2025 Division III National Scholar-Athlete

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — Caroline Hughlett, a junior midfielder from Christopher Newport University, has been named the 2025 NFHCA Division III National Scholar-Athlete.

The NFHCA National Scholar-Athlete honor is presented annually to the Division III First Team All-American undergraduate who earns the highest cumulative grade-point average through the first semester of the current academic year.

Hughlett earned this prestigious distinction with an outstanding 4.00 cumulative GPA through the fall semester while continuing to excel on the field for the Captains.

A central presence in Christopher Newport’s midfield, Hughlett appeared in all 20 contests during the 2025 season and totaled 23 points while influencing play on both sides of the ball. Steady leadership and consistent performance throughout the year helped propel the Captains to an outstanding 19–1 record, with Hughlett anchoring the midfield unit from start to finish.
