Christis, Peeters named NFHCA Division II National Players of the Week

MANAHAWKIN, NJ  — Senior foward Annamartine Christis and junior goalkeeper Emma Peeters, both hailing from No. 5 Southern New Hampshire University, have been named this week’s NFHCA Division II Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively.

NFHCA Division II Defensive Player of the Week

Emma Peeters, No. 5 Southern New Hampshire University, Jr., Goalkeeper (Wageningen, Netherlands)

• Named NE10 Defensive Player of the Week.
• Made 12 saves in a double-overtime shutout win over then-No. 10 Saint Anselm.
• Leads the NE10 with 0.97 GAA and a  0.845 save percentage.

NFHCA Division II Offensive Player of the Week

 

Annamartine Christis, No. 5 Southern New Hampshire University, Sr., Midfielder (‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands)

• Named NE10 Offensive Player of the Week.
• Scored the lone goal to edge then-No. 10 Saint Anselm in double overtime before adding a pair of goals and an assist in a 6-1 victory over New Haven.
• Leads all of Division II with 20 goals on the season.
