DelGiudice, Basque named NFHCA Division III National Players of the Week

MANAHAWKIN, NJ  — Graduate midfielder from No. 7 Tufts University Andrea DelGuidice, and Junior goalkeeper from No. 16 Bryn Mawr College, Charlene Basque, have been named this week’s NFHCA Division III Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively.

NFHCA Division III Defensive Player of the Week

 

Charlene Basque, Bryn Mawr College, Jr., Goalkeeper (West Newbury, Massachusetts)

  • Named Centennial Conference Defensive Athlete of the Week.
  • Made a total of 11 saves in wins over No. 14 The College of New Jersey and then No. 10 University of Lynchburg.
  • Posted a 0.846 save percentage in the two victories.

NFHCA Division III Offensive Player of the Week

 

Andrea DelGuidice, Gr. Midfielder (Belford, New Hampshire)

  • Named NESCAC Offensive Player of the Week.
  • Amassed 15 points with six goals and three assists in a pair of wins for Tufts.
  • Tallied a hat-trick each over Colby College and Connecticut College.
