Eckard, Morse named NFHCA Division III National Players of the Week

MANAHAWKIN, NJ  — First-year midfielder from Lycoming College Lacy Eckard, and senior goalkeeper from Fitchburg State University, Jenna Morse, have been named this week’s NFHCA Division III Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively.

NFHCA Division III Defensive Player of the Week

Jenna Morse, Fitchburg State University, Sr., Goalkeeper (Leominster, MA)

  • Named MASCAC Defensive Player of the Week.
  • Notched 22 saves in a 4-3 double overtime setback to Clark University.
  • Posted a 0.78 goals against average and save percentage of .957.

NFHCA Division III Offensive Player of the Week

Lacy Eckard, Lycoming College, FY, Midfielder (Muncy, PA)

  • Named Landmark Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
  • Netted seven total goals in a 1-1 week for Lycoming.
  • Tallied five goals in a 6-0 victory over Keuka College.
