GILBERT, Ariz. — This year, 48 student-athletes have been recognized by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) as All-Americans — the selections are divided into first, second, and third teams.

The 2019 Longstreth/NFHCA Division III All-American teams are made up of 37 first-time honorees, eight second-time honorees, and three third-time honorees. If you’re viewing the list on a mobile device, select “View in Full Screen” to access both pages.
Named All-Americans for the third time in their careers were Bowdoin College’s Kara Finnerty, Salisbury University’s Jillian Hughes, and Franklin & Marshall College’s Erin Coverdale. Finnerty started in every game of her Polar Bear career and will graduate with 94 points to her name. Hughes, a senior defender, also has started in every game of her collegiate career and was a part of defense that posted 12 shutouts this year. Coverdale, a senior forward, will end her F&M career with 136 points to her name.
Franklin & Marshall College had the most All-American selections this year with four, while Bowdoin College, Middlebury College, and Salisbury University were tied for second-most with three All-Americans each.
The final Division III postseason award for 2019, the First Point USA/NFHCA National Player of the Year, will be announced on December 16.
