Koper, Curley named NFHCA Division II National Players of the Week

MANAHAWKIN, NJ  — First-year midfielder from No. 7 University of Mount Olive, Kaat Koper, and Ryan Curley, a graduate student goalkeeper from No. 6 West Chester University, have been named this week’s NFHCA Division II Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively. NFHCA Division II Defensive Player of the Week

Ryan Curley, No. 6 West Chester University, Gr., Goalkeeper (Malvern, PA)

  • Named PSAC Defensive Athlete of the Week.
  • Posted a shutout over Adelphi in a 5-0 road win for West Chester.
  • Held No. 5 Bloomsburg scoreless for 59 minutes in a 2-1 victory for the Golden Rams.

NFHCA Division II Offensive Player of the Week

Kaat Koper, No. 7 University of Mount Olive, FY., Forward (Amsterdam, the Netherlands)

  • Named SAC Offensive Player of the Week.
  • Tallied the third-ever hat trick in program history, as the Trojans opened conference play with a 2-0 record.
  • Registered six points behind three goals in a 5-0 shutout over Coker.
