Duke, Richardson NFHCA DII National Players of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — Jenna Duke, a sophomore forward from Mansfield University, and Avery Richardson, a junior goalkeeper from Roberts Wesleyan University, have been named this week’s NFHCA Division II Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively. Makena Tooley, a sophomore midfielder from Roberts Wesleyan and Joelle Cameron, a senior goalkeeper from Saint Michael’s College, also received honorable mention nods for Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week.

Avery Richardson, Roberts Wesleyan University, Junior, Goalkeeper (Syracuse, NY)
- Helped the Redhawks earn two shutouts over Mercy University and Molloy University, including a 1-0 overtime win versus the Lions
- Tallied 5 saves in 131 minutes of action
NFHCA Division II Offensive Player of the Week
Jenna Duke, Mansfield University, Sophomore, Forward (Stroudsburg, PA)
- Named the season’s first PSAC Offensive Player of the Week
- Tallied 11 points on 5 goals and 1 assist
- Notched a hat trick in Mansfield’s win over Southern Connecticut State University
NFHCA Division II Honorable Mention
Defensive: Joelle Cameron, Saint Michael’s College, Senior, Goalkeeper (West Bridgewater, MA)
- Named the NE-10 Defensive Player of the Week for Sept 8
- Blocked 68 shots in 120 minutes of action, including 45 saves to set a new NCAA Division II record on Sept 8 vs No. 1 Kutztown

- Tallied the game-winning goals for the Redhawks’ shutout wins over Mercy University and Molloy University
