Camryn, Winter NFHCA DI Field Hockey Players of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — Mallory Camryn, a senior forward from Central Michigan University, and Puck Winter, a graduate student defender from Rutgers University, have been named this week’s NFHCA Division I Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively. Lily Procaccianti, a junior forward from Providence College, and Ellie Todd, a senior goalkeeper from Wake Forest, also received honorable mention nods for Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week.
NFHCA Division I Offensive Player of the Week
Mallory Camryn, Central Michigan, Senior, Forward (Ontario, Canada)
- Totaled four goals and one assist in a 2–0 MAC weekend, CMU’s first since 2020.
- Scored the opening goal in a 2–1 victory over Ball State, sparking the Chippewas’ back-to-back conference wins.
- Netted a hat trick and an assist in a 5–4 overtime win over Ohio, including the OT game-winner and an assist on the tying goal with 31 seconds left in regulation.
NFHCA Division I Defensive Player of the Week
Puck Winter, Rutgers University, Graduate Student, Defender (Deventer, Netherlands)
- Anchored Rutgers’ defense in a 2–1 overtime win over Ohio State, making two defensive saves in the final minutes of regulation to preserve the victory.
- Added an offensive spark in a win over Columbia, recording two goals and one assist for a five-point outing.
- Led a back line that conceded just one goal in 127 minutes of action across two wins.
- Earned B1G Ten Defensive Player of the Week honors.
NFHCA Division I Honorable Mention
Offensive: Lily Procaccianti, Providence College, Junior, Forward (Cranston, RI)
- Tallied three goals in two wins, including both goals in a 2–0 shutout of Georgetown.
- Added the game-winner in a 3–1 victory over Hofstra, recording a second multi-goal performance of the season.
Defensive: Ellie Todd, Wake Forest, Senior, Goalkeeper (Boston, MA)
- Anchored Wake Forest to a dramatic double-overtime upset of then No. 2 North Carolina, making 11 saves to backstop the program’s first win over the Tar Heels since 2017.
