NFHCA to participate in National Day of Giving
On Tuesday, November 30, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) will participate in the National Day of Giving also known as #GivingTuesday, designed to inspire people to give to meaningful causes. Giving Tuesday is another touchpoint in the association’s ongoing Fuel Our Future giving campaign. The NFHCA is calling on fans and supporters of the field hockey community to make a donation and a difference on this special day. Contributions of all sizes matter and will help the field hockey coaching community thrive. There will be several exciting giving initiatives throughout #GivingTuesday which will be announced on social media and communicated to the coaching community.
Donations to the NFHCA expand the association’s ability to support coaches and the important work that they do — gifts will help the NFHCA continue to provide a platform for student-athlete and coach recognition. There are two ways to give to the NFHCA — through the Opportunity Fund and the Scholarship Fund. With the donations provided through the NFHCA Opportunity Fund, the NFHCA aims to create a platform and community to give coaches the resources, recognition, and mentorship they need to make the most impact both on and off the field. Contributions to the NFHCA Scholarship Fund provide scholarships to the NFHCA Annual Convention, distributed yearly to deserving coaches.
The NFHCA’s goal is to support and expand field hockey coaching education, celebrate and honor the achievements of coaches and athletes, and encourage the growth of the sport. Since 1997, the NFHCA has served field hockey coaches at every level across the country. Each year nearly 7,000 field hockey student-athletes and coaches are recognized through the NFHCA’s awards and recognition programs.
The NFHCA thanks those who have already donated to the Fuel Our Future giving campaign for their generosity. Current donors are encouraged to share the NFHCA’s #GivingTuesday initiative with friends and family by sharing on social media and throughout their networks. The NFHCA is looking forward to the field hockey community turning out in full force on November 30. Help the NFHCA Fuel Our Future.
The NFHCA is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization. All gifts made to the NFHCA are tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law.
