Fini, Tibbals NFHCA DIII Field Hockey Players of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — Bella Fini, a freshman forward from Drew University, and Madison Tibbals, a freshman goalkeeper from Babson College, have been named this week’s NFHCA Division III Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively. Grace Keefe, a senior defender from Middlebury College, and Jordan Vradenburgh, a junior goalkeeper from Stevenson University, also received honorable mention nods for Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week.
NFHCA Division III Offensive Player of the Week
Bella Fini, Drew University, Freshman, Forward (Wenonah, NJ)
- Recorded 4 goals and 1 assist in a 2-0 week for the Rangers.
- Delivered second hat trick in three games, scoring all 3 goals including the OT winner in a 3-2 road victory at Eastern.
NFHCA Division III Defensive Player of the Week
Madison Tibbals, Babson College, Freshman, Goalkeeper (Gorham, ME)
- Posted a 0.93 GAA and .818 save percentage while making 9 total saves in two victories for the Beavers.
- Recorded 7 saves, including 3 in the opening eight minutes of overtime, in a 2-1 win over then No. 7 Tufts.
NFHCA Division III Honorable Mention
Offensive: Grace Keefe, Middlebury College, Senior, Defender (Danbury, CT)
- Tallied 5 points in a 3-2 OT conference win over then No. 9 Amherst, including scoring the game-tying goal late in the fourth quarter and assisting on the OT game-winner.
Defensive: Jordan Vradenburgh, Stevenson University, Junior, Goalkeeper (Fairless Hills, PA)
- Stopped 12 shots vs. No. 4 Salisbury, keeping the Mustangs in striking distance against a top-five opponent. Finished the week with a 1-0 shutout win over Gettysburg.
