Conway, Emmons named NFHCA August High School Players of the Month

MANAHAWKIN, NJ —  Lola Conway, a 2028 midfielder from The Bishops School in La Jolla, California, and Brylee Emmons, a 2028 defender from Leavitt Area High School in Turner, Maine, have earned the distinction of August’s NFHCA High School Players of the Month, sponsored by Victory Sports Tours.

In just three contests to open the 2024 season, Conway tallied eight goals and added two assists. In the season-opening scrimmage against Torrey Pines, she netted a hat-trick within the first quarter and finished the game with four goals. Conway’s performance helped her team to three victories with a total of 16 team goals and three shutouts.

Across four contests for the month, Emmons registered two goals and three assists to go along with four defensive saves. Her contributions led her squad to three shutouts, two wins, and a tie for the month.

Honorable Mention

Elena Martin, 2028 forward from Garden Spot High School in New Holland, Pennsylvania, netted six goals to go along with six assists for her team across the month.
