Trottie, Westbrook named NFHCA Division II National Players of the Week

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Junior goalkeeper from Bentley University, Mia Trottie, and sophomore forward from No. 9 Newberry College, Emma Westbrook, have been named this week’s NFHCA Division II Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, respectively.
Senior goalkeeper from No. 1 East Stroudsburg University, Amy Supey, and junior forward from Pace University, Krista Dietz, also received honorable mentions nods for Division II Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, respectively, as well.
NFHCA Division II Defensive Player of the Week
Mia Trottie, Bentley University, Jr., Goalkeeper (Cinnaminson, New Jersey)
- Recorded two shutouts, her third and fourth in a row, to help Bentley with wins over Saint Michael’s and Mercy.
- Hasn’t conceded a goal in 272 minutes.
- Leads the NE10 in both save percentage (.841) and goals against average (0.70).
NFHCA Division II Offensive Player of the Week
Emma Westbrook, No. 9 Newberry College, So., Forward (Dover, Delaware)
- Named SAC Offensive Player of Week.
- Tallied five goals on the week in victories over Coker and Lander.
- Posted her third hat-trick on the year against Lander.
- Leads Division II with 17 goals.
NFHCA Division II Defensive Player of the Week Honorable Mention
Amy Supey, No. 1 East Stroudsburg University, Sr., Goalkeeper (Lehman, Pennsylvania)
- Notched 10 saves while allowing only two goals on the week.
- Recorded a career-high nine saves in the double-overtime win over No. 10 Millersville.

- Provided three goals and three assists this week in a 2-0 week for Pace.
