COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) recognizes two standout athletes as the September 2025 High School Players of the Month.

Offensive Player of the Month – Teagan O’Donnell, Bedford High School (NH), Forward, Class of 2026

O’Donnell tallied 27 goals and 12 assists in Bedford High School’s September debut, helping lead the team to a dominant 9-1 record. A senior team captain, fire and determination have made this forward an essential factor in the Bulldogs’ attack.

Defensive Player of the Month – Devon Barry, Franklin High School (MA), Goalkeeper, Class of 2026

Barry’s senior season has been off to an outstanding start, as this captain led Franklin to 10 wins, 2 ties, and zero losses in September. With only two goals scored against the Panthers in September, Barry posted a 0.947 save percentage on the month.
