GILBERT, Ariz. — As a result of the most recent National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Executive Board election, Carolyn King-Robitaille will assume the role of Division II group representative and Annie Hansbury will be the association’s first vice-president. Each of their two-year terms will begin at the conclusion of the 2020 NFHCA Annual Convention.

King-Robitaille, head coach at Saint Anselm College, will relieve Kelsi Lykens, head coach at the University of New Haven, who has been serving as the interim Division II group representative for the last year.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve on the Executive Board as the Division II group representative,” said King-Robitaille. “I consider this a great responsibility and look forward to serving the Division II membership group as well as the entire NFHCA membership as we continue to explore ways to help our sport and this organization grow and flourish.”

Hansbury, head coach at Stonehill College, will take over for Julie Ryan, head coach at Babson College, who has served two-consecutive, two-year terms as the NFHCA’s first vice-president.

“I am honored and excited to have the opportunity to serve on the Executive Board,” commented Hansbury. “I look forward to having an impact on our great community while connecting with members of NFHCA.”

The next association election to take place will be for the NFHCA president. Presidential speeches and voting will occur in January at the 2020 NFHCA Annual Convention — NFHCA voting members who are not in attendance at the Annual Convention will be able to view the presidential speeches and vote online. Additional information will be communicated to the NFHCA membership leading up to the 2020 NFHCA Annual Convention.
