Diplock, Koprivova named Play Safe Turf & Track/NFHCA Division II National Players of the Week

BROCKPORT, N.Y. — Freshman goalkeeper, Tereza Koprivova, and senior forward, Kelly Diplock, both from Limestone University, have been named this week’s Play Safe Turf & Track/NFHCA Division II Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, respectively.

Tereza Koprivova, Limestone University, Fr., Goalkeeper (Olesna, Czech Republic)

Koprivova secured two wins in the cage for Limestone University last week. On Tuesday against Queens University of Charlotte, Koprivova stopped all three shots she faced to secure her second shutout of the season. Then on Friday against Newberry College, the freshman goalkeeper allowed only one goal in her 51 minutes of gameplay to help collect another win for the 5-0 Saints.

Koprivova was named South Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday. This is Koprivova’s second Division II Defensive Player of the Week honor this season.

Kelly Diplock, Limestone University, Sr., Forward (Harare, Zimbabwe)

Diplock contributed six points in Limestone University’s two wins last week. Diplock netted both goals in Tuesday’s 2-0 win over Queens University of Charlotte, scoring within the first minute-and-a-half of the game and then again in the final quarter. On Friday in the Saints’ 2-1 win over Newberry College, she scored the first goal of the game just before the halftime break.

Diplock was named South Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
