Deleva, Peregoy named NFHCA Division II National Players of the Week

GENEVA, N.Y. — Junior defender from No. 9 Adelphi University, Kylie Peregoy, and graduate student forward from No. 9 Adelphi University, Kaylee Deleva, have been named this week’s NFHCA Division II Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week sponsored by ScoreBreak, respectively.

NFHCA Division II Defensive Player of the Week

 

Kylie Peregoy, No. 9 Adelphi University, Jr., Defender (Medford, New York)

  • Led Adelphi University to their first-ever Northeast-10 Championship as the No. 4 seed
  • Recorded two assists and two defensive saves throughout the conference tournament
  • Anchored the defense in the 4-3 quarterfinal win vs St. Thomas Aquinas, in the 2-1 overtime semifinal upset vs number one seeded Saint Anselm College, and in the 2-1 championship title match vs Pace University
  • Named to the All-Championship Team

NFHCA Division II Offensive Player of the Week​

 

Kaylee Deleva, No. 9 Adelphi University, Gr., Forward (Sound Beach, New York)

  • Led Adelphi University to their first-ever Northeast-10 Championship
  • Scored six goals in three tournament games
  • Scored two goals in the 4-3 quarterfinal victory vs St. Thomas Aquinas
  • Scored both goals in the 2-1 overtime upset victory vs Saint Anselm College
  • Scored both goals in the 2-1 championship title game vs Pace University
  • Named to the All-Championship Team
  • Name the Most Valuable Player of the tournament
