GENEVA, N.Y. — On Friday, January 13, 2023, NFHCA Annual Convention attendees were joined by honorees and their friends and family for the NFHCA Hall of Fame Dinner sponsored by AstroTurf. Following dinner, the ceremony recognized the NFHCA Hall of Fame Class of 2022 and our Lifetime Achievement Award honoree.
NFHCA Hall of Fame and Lifetime Achievement Award
The evening was highlighted by induction of the Class of 2022 into the NFHCA Hall of Fame — this was the 22nd class to be added to an esteemed group of coaches. Kathleen “Cookie” Bromage, Katharine DeLorenzo, and Anne Horton addressed the crowd before being presented with their Hall of Fame awards. Each honoree offered effusive thanks and regaled the audience with coaching stories and touching advice.
The Awards Dinner culminated with the presentation of the NFHCA’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Former head coach at the University of Pennsylvania, Anne Sage, was recognized posthumously with the NFHCA’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Her granddaughter, Sage O’Connor spoke on behalf of the Sage family.
