JOB SUMMARY

Under general direction of the women’s field hockey head coach, assist in all aspects of an NCAA Division I women’s field hockey program.  The 1st assistant role will focus primarily on practice planning and execution, video analysis including scouting and recruiting.

This full-time, benefits eligible position’s salary will be supplemented with the administration of UC Davis Field Hockey tournaments, camps and clinics.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Coaching experience in the sport of field hockey.
Knowledge of the rules and strategies of field hockey. This includes, but is not limited to, teaching techniques, coaching strategies and safety measures that are necessary for athletes to compete at the collegiate level.
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Bachelor Degree, and/or equivalent experience/training with a college-level program.

Preferred:

Video analysis experience with Hudl/Sportscode
