Germantown Friends School is seeking upper and middle school field hockey coaches. Applicants should be skilled leaders, mentors and communicators, with proven coaching experience, to help continue to build on a strong foundation. High-level playing experience is preferred. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to coach in a positive manner and adhere to the values of the school, and the Friends Schools League.
These are part-time positions in September and October, Monday-Friday 2:30-4:00 p.m. (Middle School), 4:00-5:45 p.m. (Upper School). Candidates with the potential to teach physical education are encouraged to apply, along with those who have aptitude and / or qualifications for substitute classroom teaching.
Employment is subject to satisfactory completion of reference checks and proper clearances, as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Current PA background clearances (PA Criminal, FBI/Fingerprints, PA Childline) are preferred.
