This position will oversee all aspects of a Division I program, including the management of one full-time assistant coach and one graduate assistant. The Head Coach will provide positive direction and leadership to maintain a successful field hockey program; plan and administer all aspects of the program; coach, recruit, adhere to NCAA and MAC compliance policies; demonstrated ability to be fiscally responsible and manage complex budgets; have the ability to work with athletic communications on public relations initiatives; and be directly involved with fundraising and university development initiatives

Required Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree
-Minimum two years coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level
-Demonstrated collegiate field hockey recruiting
-Knowledge of and commitment to following NCAA rules and policies
-Possess proven integrity
-Demonstrated leadership skills
-Have the ability to motivate student-athletes to be successful academically and athletically
-Possess effective verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree and Division I coaching and recruiting experience.
