The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) has unveiled a new initiative designed to provide more resources to its current membership and provide an unobstructed path to a coaching career for graduating college seniors.
During the Collegiate Breakout Meeting at the 2019 NFHCA Annual Convention, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) collegiate membership voted on several rules recommendations to pass onto the NCAA.

The highlights of the night were the NFHCA Hall of Fame induction of Catherine “Cathy” Neary McGuirk and Anne Parmenter and the presentation of the NFHCA’s first Lifetime Achievement Award to Sharon E. Taylor.
Jazmin Petrantonio, of Shippensburg University, and Kacie Smith, of Stonehill College, were selected to represent their respective regions as the Longstreth/NFHCA Division II Regional Player of the Year.
Ashley Hoffman, a senior defender from the University of North Carolina, was named the Honda Sport Award winner for Field Hockey as announced today by Chris Voelz, Executive Director of THE Collegiate Women Sports Awards (CWSA).
