GILBERT, Ariz. — Grace Moore, junior goalkeeper from MIT, and Rachel Hopkins, senior forward/midfielder from Worcester State University, have been named this week's Play Safe Turf & Track/NFHCA Division III Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, respectively.

Grace Moore, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Jr., Goalkeeper (Boston, Massachusetts)
Moore's goalkeeping performance last weekend helped to propel the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Engineers to their sixth New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship. On Thursday, she made six saves to secure the 4-1 semifinal win over Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Then on Saturday, she made 11 saves in the 3-2 overtime victory against No. 14 Babson College which awarded her team the NEWMAC title
Play Safe Turf & Track/NFHCA Division III Offensive Player of the Week
Rachel Hopkins, Worcester State University, Sr., Forward/Midfielder (Chelmsford, Massachusetts)
Hopkins totaled eight goals — including all three game-winners — and had two assists for 18 points last week. Her scoring prowess led the Lancers to their first-ever Little East Conference tournament championship. Hopkins totaled three goals and two assists in a 7-0 quarterfinal win over UMass Dartmouth before scoring two goals in a 3-2 semifinal overtime victory against the University of Southern Maine. Hopkins capped the week scoring three times in a 6-0 tournament final triumph over six-time defending LEC champion Keene State University.
Hopkins was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Little East Conference Championship Tournament. This is her second Play Safe Turf & Track/NFHCA Division III Offensive Player of the Week honor this season.
