West Chester voted into first place in final Penn Monto/NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll

GILBERT, Ariz. — West Chester University took the top spot in the final 2019 Penn Monto/NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll. The Golden Rams were listed first in the Atlantic Region giving them a first-round bye in the upcoming NCAA Division II Field Hockey Championship Tournament. They will face the winners of the first-round game between No. 5 Southern New Hampshire University and No. 4 Kutztown University.

No. 3 Saint Anselm College — the Northeast-10 Conference Champions — ranked first in the East Region, giving them a first-round bye. The Hawks will face the winner of the first-round game between No. 2 East Stroudsburg University — the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Field Hockey Champions — and No. 7 Assumption College.

The first round of the NCAA Division II Field Hockey Championship Tournament kicks off on Saturday, November 16 with 1:00 p.m. EST games in Manchester, New Hampshire and East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. The semifinals and championship will take place the following weekend at Millersville University.
