GILBERT, Ariz. — The NCAA Field Hockey Championship Tournament fields are set following the 3:00 p.m. EST NCAA division II field hockey selection show on Monday. The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Coaches Polls' top teams all lead the NCAA brackets with No. 1 University of North Carolina and No. 1 The College of New Jersey taking the top seeds of their respective tournaments. No. 1 West Chester University earned a first-round bye in the Division II tournament along with No. 3 Saint Anselm College.
UNC finished out conference play with an Atlantic Coast Conference Championship thanks to a 3-1 win over No. 9 Boston College, while TCNJ secured the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship title with a 3-1 victory over No. 10 Rowan University. Saint Anselm, leading the East Region, was crowned the Northeast-10 Conference Champion for the first time in their program's history. West Chester, who tops the Atlantic Region, fell in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference semifinals to No. 4 Kutztown University — their first loss of the season — but still tout an impressive 18-1 record.
