Drakeley, Petrantonio named Play Safe Turf & Track/NFHCA Division II Weekly Award winners

GILBERT, Ariz. — Anna Drakeley, senior defender from No. 3 Saint Anselm College, and Jazmin Petrantonio, junior forward from No. 6 Shippensburg University, have been named this week's Play Safe Turf & Track/NFHCA Division II Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, respectively.

Anna Drakeley, Saint Anselm College, Sr., Midfielder/Defender (Woodbury, Connecticut)

Drakeley led a Saint Anselm defense that posted two shutouts last week over conference opponents St. Michael's College and the University of New Haven. She also notched an assist in the win over New Haven. Drakeley and the Saint Anselm defensive unit have not allowed a goal yet this season.

Drakeley was named Northeast-10 Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Play Safe Turf & Track/NFHCA Division II Offensive Player of the Week

Jazmin Petrantonio, Shippensburg University, Jr., Midfielder/Forward (Saenz Pena, Argentina)

Petrantonio posted a hat trick and an assist in No. 6 Shippensburg University's lone game last week against Bloomsburg University. Petrantonio's performance on Saturday made her the current points leader for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) with 28 so far this season.

Petrantonio was named PSAC Field Hockey Athlete of the Week.
