Six unbeaten teams feature on Penn Monto/NFHCA Division III National Coaches Poll

GILBERT, Ariz. — As we enter the fourth week of the field hockey season, six of the teams ranked on the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division III National Coaches Poll still tout an unbeaten record and three of those undefeated programs top the poll.

The Top Five

No. 1 Middlebury College and New Jersey Athletic Conference rivals, No. 2 Rowan University and No. 3 The College of New Jersey, remain unbeaten, while No. 4 Salisbury University and No. 5 Tufts University have only dropped one game apiece — Salisbury's first loss coming from No. 3 TCNJ this past weekend.

Games to Watch

Tomorrow, No. 18 Babson College travels to take on No. 5 Tufts University in a 5:00 p.m. EST contest, while No. 13 Messiah will visit No. 9 Johns Hopkins University for a 7:00 p.m. EST game.

Field hockey fans will not want to miss Saturday's noon matchups between No. 5 Tufts and No. 14 Bates College or Haverford College — who received votes this week — and No. 8 Franklin & Marshall College.

Saturday also features a battle of NFHCA Hall of Famers as No. 7 Bowdoin College and head coach, Nicky Pearson (Class of 2014), take on No. 17 Trinity College and head coach, Anne Parmenter (Class of 2018), at 11:00 a.m. EST.
