GILBERT, Ariz. — The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) is excited to announce a new partnership with the sport-specific meal delivery company, Nutrition by Corvis.
Nutrition by Corvis was founded by former Division I NCAA Water Polo players and lifelong athletes, Bobby Wurtz and Davis DeFontes — their goal was to provide athletic teams with convenient and nutritious meal options while on the road.
"The NFHCA provides resources for hockey coaches across the country and across all levels. Our Nutrition by Corvis goals reflect those of the NFHCA, providing a service that can enhance student-athlete wellness and increase efficiency levels of all teams, through individual food customization," said National Director of Sales and Business Development, Marybeth Freeman. "We're excited to offer our resources to help serve coaches within the NFHCA and assist in providing individually-crafted, nutritionally-balanced meals to aid in overall student-athlete success. We're looking forward to collaborating with the NFHCA moving forward and we're excited to be joining them as an official sponsor in 2019."
As part of the new partnership, Nutrition by Corvis will showcase their unique service by providing a customized, midday meal to the attendees of the NFHCA Annual Convention.
"We are very excited to continue our partnership with Nutrition by Corvis for a second year," said NFHCA President, Andy Whitcomb. "The coaches in attendance at last year's NFHCA Annual Convention really enjoyed seeing the service at work and we are happy to partner with a company that puts student-athlete nutrition first and makes our coaches lives easier."
Nutrition by Corvis delivers nutritious meals prepared specifically for each team's individual athlete. They've mastered the elusive combination of convenience and nutrition, through their online ordering system and delivery service, and their proprietary algorithm that adjusts meal specifications for each athlete based on their sport, position, gender, height, weight, and age.
