2019-20 NFHCA membership drive opens

2019-20 Member Drive, May 1 until September 30, 2019

GILBERT, Ariz. — The 2019-20 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) membership drive is now open. From May 1, 2019 until September 30, 2019, current NFHCA memberships can be renewed and new NFHCA memberships can be created.

Members of the NFHCA are afforded many benefits, most significantly, they are eligible to nominate their student-athletes for NFHCA academic and athletic awards and are granted discounted or free admissions to NFHCA events throughout the year. The NFHCA organizes the Division I, II, and III Senior Games, Open Collegiate Practice Day, the NFHCA Annual Convention, and NFHCA Winter Escape. The NFHCA also operates the Collegiate Coaches Polls. Additionally, members are granted access to the NFHCA's comprehensive email newsletter, The Scoop; the NFHCA job board, the most-visited field hockey job board in the country; and the NFHCA's newest initiative, the NFHCA Resume Bank, a collection of resumes from graduating college student-athletes who are interested in coaching. Intangibly, the NFHCA provides a place for field hockey coaches to connect, share ideas, and grow professionally.

New this year, any coach who joins the NFHCA will get a digital drill booklet filled with over 10 pages of field hockey drills, sent to their inbox.

The NFHCA is a nonprofit organization made up of over 1,600 field hockey coaches from across the United States. The NFHCA recognizes the accomplishments of student-athletes and coaches, connects the field hockey community, and cultivates the growth of field hockey through education and conversation. The NFHCA's members fall into several categories: Division I, II, and III head coaches and assistant coaches, high school coaches, and club coaches. The NFHCA also has several affiliate member groups who are not coaches, but who are interested in field hockey and are supportive of the objectives and mission of the NFHCA.

Anyone interested in joining the NFHCA can do so online or by mail. Any questions related to membership can be directed to the NFHCA's executive director, Jenn Goodrich at executivedirector@nfhca.org.
