2018 GoPlay Sports Tours/NFHCA High School All-American

GILBERT, Ariz. — This year, 48 student-athletes have been recognized by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) as GoPlay Sports Tours/NFHCA High School All-Americans — the selections are divided into first, second and third teams.

The 2018 GoPlay Sports Tours/NFHCA High School All-American teams are made up of 29 first-time honorees, 13 second-time honorees and six third-time honorees. Mackenzie Allessie of Donegal High School (PA), Leanne Bough of Whitney Point High School (NY), Charlotte DeVries of Conestoga High School (PA), Kara Heck of Eastern High School (NJ), Margot Lawn of Archbishop Spalding High School (MD) and Josie Varney of St. Paul's School (NH) earned All-American honors for the third time in their high school careers.

Eastern High School (NJ) had the most award winners with three All-Americans. Oak Knoll School (NJ), Notre Dame Prep (MD) and Villa Maria Academy (PA) each had two players from their program recognized this year.

Next on the slate of high school postseason awards, the Optimal Performance Associates/NFHCA High School National Academic Squad awards will be announced on February 6.
