GILBERT, Ariz. — Two staffs have been recognized as their region's Spiideo/NFHCA Coaching Staff of the Year. The NFHCA recognizes each institution's countable coaches but acknowledges all of the important staff members that make each program successful.
Tara Zollinger, Jordan Page, Brittney Randolph
The Shippensburg University Raiders finished the season 19-4 and won their third-straight NCAA Championship. The Raiders were also runners-up in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship. The Shippensburg roster is highlighted by 2018 PSAC Field Hockey Athlete of the Year, Jazmin Petrantonio, four members of the 2018 NCAA All-Tournament Team, and four student-athletes who earned All-PSAC honors. The 2018 season was the second for Zollinger, Page, and Randolph — this is their second-consecutive Atlantic Region Coaching Staff of the Year honor.
Kayte Kinsley, Emma Dempsey, Kate Norman
The Pace University Setters finished their historic season with a 18-3 record and the program's first-ever trip to the NCAA Championship Tournament. In only their fourth year of existence, Pace earned a third-seed berth to the NCAA Championship Tournament, spent the full season on the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll, and celebrated their first Northeast-10 Conference regular-season championship. Pace's roster features 2018 Northeast-10 Rookie of the Year, Grace Henderson, and five All-Northeast-10 selections. The 2018 season was the third for Kinsley and the first for Dempsey and Norman — Kinsley was named the 2018 Northeast-10 Coach of the Year.
