Hendrix to host 2021 NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship

CONWAY, Ark. — Hendrix College has been named as the host of the 2021 NCAA Division III Field Hockey National Championship.

The semifinals and finals will be held at Warrior Field on campus on Nov. 20-21, 2021.

"Hendrix is thrilled to be given the opportunity to host the DIII NCAA Field Hockey Championship," said Hendrix head coach and NCAA Division III Field Hockey National Chair Rebecca Begley. "We feel fortunate to be a part of bringing hockey to the south and be able to showcase our exceptional athletic facilities and the amazing town of Conway. Hendrix and Conway look forward to providing an exceptional student-athlete experience for the participants and an unprecedented experience for the spectators."

"I would like to thank President Bill Tsutsui for supporting our bid to host the NCAA Championship, [Director of Athletics] Amy Weaver for supporting the growth of the sport of field hockey and the NCAA selection committee for recognizing Hendrix as an ideal site for the field hockey championship," ended Coach Begley. "We have ordered good weather, promise to have great food and look forward to a phenomenal weekend of fantastic field hockey."
